Director of Marketing

Job Summary

To assist with the planning and developing of the company's overall brand positioning by orchestrating individual field visits and group meetings with existing franchisees and showing them new products as well as design and marketing techniques.

Requirements

Must have an appreciation and respect for all products and management provided by the company. Must represent themselves in a positive and exciting manner at all times in front of all franchisees and trainees.

Responsibilities

Corporate

  • Report on store front signage.
  • Report on store front layouts as well as assist in layout and overall "mood" scheme.
  • Create programs that promote joint advertising by individual franchisees.
  • Report on customer service guidelines.
  • Identify co-branding opportunities that can be used to synergize multiple offerings.
  • Assist in gathering information regarding customer satisfaction on the retail level.
  • Perform on-site evaluations of key franchise units, obtaining as much data from both home based and store front locations as necessary to report to management how that unit could improve it's operations.
  • Provide content for the monthly franchise newsletter; including marketing for the sale of warehouse product and for the sale of retail bouquets.
  • Provide content on the Franchisee Center so that all franchisees can have the information needed to improve their marketing efforts.
  • Input on the creation and transition of a new trademark.
  • Training/Marketing Departments.
  • Assist with new product design by coordinating ideas with the Candy Bouquet Training Department.
  • Assist with the development and layout of the Candy Bouquet retail marketing materials.
  • Orchestrate 2008 convention.

Retail

  • Assist in establishing programs that allow franchisees to successfully deal with competition in their respected markets.
  • Assist the franchisees in diversifying their product offering in areas such as Corporate Accounts and Fundraising.
  • Support franchisees with direction and content of advertising used in their local area so as to align all advertising behind a common message.
